Z Holdings Launches "DIGITAL DAYS 2022," a Special Website to Mark "JAPAN DIGITAL DAYS"

Z Holdings Corporation (hereinafter "ZHD") today launched "DIGITAL DAYS 2022," a special website marking DIGITAL DAYS (October 2&3, 2022) and DIGITAL MONTH (October 1-31) in Japan. DIGITAL DAYS 2022 publishes materials and services, etc. provided by Yahoo Japan Corporation (hereinafter "Yahoo! JAPAN") and LINE Corporation (hereinafter "LINE") to deepen understanding of digitalization, such as quizzes to learn the basic knowledge of Internet use, and awareness surveys on administrative digital transformation.

 

Under the theme "Making Digital Lifestyle More Accessible," ZHD has launched DIGITAL DAYS 2022 with the aim of creating opportunities for more people to acquire correct knowledge of the ever-evolving digital world and to experience it. Yahoo! JAPAN's content includes: "All Japan Exam on Internet General Knowledge" to learn basic knowledge on Internet use; a 24-hour "Digital Hack Day 2022" to develop works that address the challenges of Japan's digitalization using the latest technologies, under the theme "Japan's Digitalization;" and Disaster Map feature in Yahoo! JAPAN Disaster Alert which received the "good digital award." LINE's content includes: "GIGA Workbook," an educational material on information ethics geared towards elementary and junior high school students to foster information ethics and improve their information use; "Japanese Public Key Infrastructure by LINE Pay," which enables users to perform administrative procedures requiring identification anytime, anywhere on LINE.

■All Japan Exam on Internet General Knowledge
- Outline: A quiz-style content that allows users to review and learn knowledge about the Internet. A total of 15 questions will test the basic knowledge on how to use the Internet and the ability to deal with common Internet problems. The questions are assembled based on the "Internet Literacy Assessment Indicator for Students (ILAS)*" published by Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

■Digital Hack Day 2022
- Outline: A 24-hour technical event where participants compete to develop and present works that address the challenges of Japan's digitization using the latest technologies under the theme, "Japan's Digitization." A preliminary was held on September 17 (Sat.) and 18 (Sun.) participated by 278 participants in 77 teams. The final will be held on October 2 (Sun.), with the 10 teams that have made it through the preliminary round, and will be live streamed on the official website.

- Outline: With the development of the Internet, the methods of acquiring information have become more diverse. - Outline: FQ (Future Questions), an online magazine that focuses on people who create the future and themes that will lead to the future, features the "Future of Fashion." ■Yahoo! JAPAN Disaster Alert "Disaster Map"
- Outline: Disaster Map on Yahoo! JAPAN Disaster Alert is a feature that allows users to post and share information about the situation when a disaster is imminent, and to check information from the Japan Meteorological Agency, local governments, TV stations, and other news organizations, on the map. Users can also check the disaster situation with photos and videos posted on Twitter. Disaster Map won the 2022 good digital award (Disaster Prevention/Infrastructure division) by Japan's Digital Agency.
